Mr. Katel holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Tribhuvan University and is a Fellow (FIII) of the Insurance Institute of India. With over 14 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry, he possesses strong expertise across all the core technical domains of insurance.
He is a recognized Resource Person who actively contributes to professional capacity building and the development of technical competencies within the insurance sector, including through the Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) and other professional platforms.
Prior to his current role at United Ajod Insurance, Mr. Katel served as Head of the Underwriting Department at United Insurance Co. (Nepal) Ltd. and was a key contributor to the underwriting department at Sagarmatha Insurance Co. Ltd.
